Job summary

Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) is seeking a Junior IT Specialist to join the IT Infrastructure team in Helsinki. The role supports traditional IT infrastructure and contributes to cloud initiatives on Azure/M365, working with five IT professionals and external partners.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in infrastructure support, experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, M365 and Azure, and a degree in IT. English proficiency is essential; Finnish/Swedish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience supporting infrastructure solutions.
• Experience of Microsoft enterprise solutions such as Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, M365, Azure.
• Team working skills, and also capability to work independently.
• Good command of the English language. Skills in Finnish or Swedish languages is considered an asset.
• A bachelor’s degree preferably in IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Help to maintain high level IT Operations.
• Undertake daily IT Infrastructure tasks: Checks, updates, tickets, access request, etc.
• Participate in cloud (Azure/M365) development activities.

Junior IT Specialist , Infrastructure and Cloud

NIB is making substantial progress in its transition to cloud-based technologies for its IT infrastructure. This transformation involves the adoption of numerous novel technologies, applications, and acronyms. To facilitate this transition and ensure the seamless operation of our current systems, we are actively seeking an IT Specialist to join our existing team of five dedicated professionals in the IT Infrastructure team.

We are looking for a candidate who has some (1-2 years) experience with following:

• Maintaining traditional IT Infrastructure e.g. servers and/or networks.
• Working with M365 and/or Azure platform.
• ITIL / Process oriented work / tickets.

Main Responsibilities
