Job summary

CubiCasa in Helsinki is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to help product, marketing, and operations teams turn data into actionable insights. You will learn the database schema from the ground up, build dashboards that drive decisions, and help keep our data clean and reliable.

You'll work daily with US sales and marketing while collaborating with Finland product and engineering teams, acting as a connective thread across both worlds.

Qualifications

• A degree or strong foundational background in Engineering, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or a relevant quantitative role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience querying PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience creating reports/visualizations in AWS QuickSight (or Tableau/PowerBI) and willingness to learn QuickSight.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; comfortable coordinating across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract insights from PostgreSQL and data warehouse for app usage, scans, and retention.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight to track KPIs across teams.
• Collaborate with US sales & marketing and Finland product & development teams to translate data into business strategy.
• Support data pipelines to ensure accurate capture of user events from mobile app and web platform.
• Maintain automated data workflows between internal platforms and third‑party tools.
