Job summary

UpCloud is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Finance team and help us make better use of data across the company. This is an early-career role where you can develop BI and analytics skills, with internship or project work welcomed.

You’ll work with teams to turn their questions into dashboards, metrics and analyses, while bringing consistency to how we use BI across UpCloud. There is room to grow towards owning the BI environment over time.

Qualifications

• Hands-on BI or data visualization experience
• Interest in building dashboards and making data easy to understand
• Analytical mindset and curiosity about business
• Eye for clear, consistent visualization and structure
• Basic understanding of data, metrics and dimensions
• Ability to work cross-functionally and translate needs into data
• Interest in developing common KPI and reporting standards
• Experience exploring data beyond dashboards
• Willingness to learn and grow in BI roles
• Relevant studies or practical experience in business/analytics

Responsibilities

• Build and develop dashboards for teams across UpCloud
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn questions into reporting, metrics and analyses
• Improve existing dashboards for clarity and usability
• Standardize dashboard design, structure and user experience
• Define and maintain common metrics across the business
• Identify outdated dashboards and simplify reporting
• Explore data to answer business questions and support decisions
• Work with data team and other UpCloud teams
• Gradually take more ownership of BI tools and processes
