Job summary

Nebius is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve data center IT hardware issues, manage RMAs, and collaborate across technical and operational domains.

The role requires hands-on hardware knowledge, Unix/Linux skills, and strong English communication to support a global environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with datacenter environments and server equipment is required.
• Strong hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience is essential.
• Sufficient knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and command line use.
• Experience with monitoring data and presenting findings clearly.
• Demonstrated proactivity and responsibility in previous roles.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot firmware and hardware issues across servers and system architectures.
• Implement workarounds and permanent solutions for IT hardware problems.
• Act as escalation SME for L1/L2 technicians and drive resolution.
• Create and refine processes and documentation for the IT hardware team.
• Collaborate with related departments to address ongoing challenges.
• Coordinate with vendors on warranty replacements (RMA) and manage requests.
• Improve support processes, documentation, and training materials.

Job description

IT Infrastructure Engineer

This role will troubleshoot and solve data center IT hardware issues, process RMA, and work at the intersection of multiple technical and operational domains.

Your Responsibilities

• Solve the most challenging firmware and hardware related issues with servers, involving in-depth knowledge of system architecture and advanced troubleshooting
• Execute workarounds and solutions for IT hardware issues
• Act as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for L1 and L2 technicians
• Create new processes and documentation for the IT hardware team
• Collaborate with related departments to solve ongoing challenges
• Collaborate with vendors on warranty replacements (RMA), create requests and manage processes
• Improve support processes, documentation and training materials

Requirements

• Knowledge of datacenters and server equipment
• Deep knowledge of IT hardware and practical experience troubleshooting
• Skills working with Unix/Linux operating system and command line
• Experience with equipment monitoring, data analysis and presentation
• Proactiveness and sense of responsibility
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
