Job summary

GE HealthCare in Helsinki is seeking an Intern for Performance & Reliability Testing to join the Patient Care Solutions team. The role is designed for a university student who can work part-time during academic semesters and full-time during summer and study breaks, with flexible hours to fit studies and team needs.

You will join a team responsible for testing performance, reliability, and system integration of patient monitoring products.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software/engineering or related fields.
• 1–3 years of university studies preferred.
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work methodically, independently, and maintain good documentation.
• Strong teamwork and English communication skills; legally allowed to work in Finland.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and enhance performance and reliability test systems for patient monitoring products.
• Execute automated and manual tests and analyze results.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of test automation solutions.
• Support continuous improvement of test infrastructure, tools, and processes.
• Document findings and clearly communicate results within the team.
• Design and implement new system test automation solutions as skills allow.
