Job summary

Ayvens is seeking an analytical and customer-oriented Insurance Analyst to join our Insurance Team in Finland. You will analyze claims and portfolio performance, identify trends, and provide insights that support better risk management and optimise insurance costs.

You will develop dashboards and reports, propose risk reduction strategies, and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to grow insurance penetration while maintaining portfolio profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance, claims management, risk consulting, fleet management or similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into practical actions.
• Experience presenting analyses and recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset and understanding of insurance profitability drivers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent Finnish and English skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor claims performance, loss ratio development and portfolio profitability across the insurance portfolio.
• Identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Produce dashboards, reports and analyses to support business decision-making.
• Develop customer-specific risk reduction recommendations and support implementation of preventative actions.
• Conduct claims and profitability reviews with customers and provide risk management recommendations.
• Act as a subject matter expert in fleet insurance and risk management during meetings, tenders, renewals and consultations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and insurance partners to improve reporting, processes and performance management.
