Job summary

HUS Meilahti Endoscopy Unit seeks an Instrument Technician for a substitute position from August 24 to November 1, 2026. The role involves two-shift work, Monday to Sunday, supporting endoscopy and urological procedures with instrument maintenance, cleaning, disinfection, packaging and sterilization to ensure asepsis and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification as an Instrument Technician.
• Good oral and satisfactory written skills in Finnish.
• Satisfactory oral skills in Swedish.
• Vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act.
• Tuberculosis health clearance.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Customer service orientation and proactivity.
• Good organizational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

HUS is seeking an Instrument Technician for a substitute position at the Meilahti Endoscopy Unit from August 24 to November 1, 2026. The role involves two-shift work from Monday to Sunday. The technician will work with endoscopy equipment used in gastro- and colonoscopies as well as urological procedures.
