Jobgether is partnering with a client in Finland to hire an Infrastructure Engineer – Vulnerability, DevOps & Automation for a remote contract role. You will own vulnerability remediation and automated patching across Windows and Linux, advancing automation practices and collaborating with IT and risk teams to ensure secure, compliant systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Strong infrastructure engineering experience for Windows Server and Linux Server.
• Demonstrated DevOps practices and Git-based repositories experience.
• Hands-on automation experience using Ansible or similar tools.
• Proven experience in infrastructure vulnerability identification and remediation.
• Patching experience for Windows and Linux in enterprise environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting with focus on stability, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute vulnerability remediation initiatives across Windows and Linux servers.
• Plan, coordinate, and support automated OS patching in production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with application teams, risk management, and IT stakeholders for validation before/after patching.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement to prioritise remediation work.
• Support ServiceNow change requests, secure approvals, assess risks, and document changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve patching/remediation issues affecting stability or compliance.
• Develop and improve infrastructure automation to make remediation more efficient and scalable.
• Mentor peers within infrastructure vulnerability and DevOps teams.
