Job summary

ICEYE is seeking an Indirect Sourcing Specialist (Category Owner) in Espoo, Finland. You will own HR, marketing and professional services categories, manage the full purchase-to-pay process, and run sourcing events to secure favorable terms.

You’ll influence stakeholders at all levels, develop strategic category plans, and help shape ICEYE's indirect sourcing processes. This is a permanent, hybrid role with security screening where required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• At least 4 years in indirect sourcing or procurement.
• Experience running sourcing events and negotiating services contracts.
• Strong analytical skills (spend analysis, total cost of ownership).
• Ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Full category ownership and vendor management in HR, marketing and professional services categories as a starting point, with possibility to take on other categories that match your experience

• Manage the full purchase-to-pay process in your categories, from purchase request to purchase order, invoice and payment

• Run sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and negotiate commercial terms

• Manage vendor relationships, performance and onboarding

• Strategic category management and planning

• Help develop Indirect Sourcing processes and ways of working

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

• Relevant educational background, such as a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience

• At least 4 years in indirect sourcing or procurement, for example as a category manager or sourcing specialist

• Proven experience running sourcing events and negotiating contracts on your own, especially for services

• Strong analytical skills (spend analysis, offer comparison offers, total cost of ownership)

• Ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to haves:

• Understanding of commercial contract terms (liability, intellectual property, data protection)

• Experience sourcing SaaS and software

• ERP experience in purchase-to-pay and source-to-pay processes

• Experience improving procurement processes in a growing company
