Job summary

ICEYE Oy, based in Espoo, Finland, is seeking a Procurement professional within the Global Manufacturing Organisation (GMO) - Supply Chain. The role focuses on ensuring a steady flow of flight-critical hardware through RFQ/RFI processes, supplier engagement, and end-to-end PO management.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality to align delivery schedules, manage documentation, and prepare for audits in a fast-paced hardware environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of procurement experience sourcing technical hardware.
  • Experience preparing RFQs/RFIs and managing purchase orders end-to-end.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple orders and suppliers.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and execution with engineering and production teams.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue RFQs and RFIs for Flight and Power Control and Structures components, and consolidate supplier responses for evaluation
  • Place and manage purchase orders, tracking status from order confirmation through to delivery
  • Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery dates, and shipment status, escalating delays as needed
  • Maintain and organize procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier records for audit and compliance readiness
  • Handle day-to-day administrative supply chain tasks, including data entry, PO amendments, and invoice reconciliation in ERP/MRP systems
  • Support senior supply chain specialists and category owners with sourcing activities and supplier communications
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, production, and finance stakeholders to align on delivery schedules and documentation needs
  • Track and update procurement records and status reports for category and management reviews

This role ensures the availability of flight-critical systems, including ADCS, propulsion, power, and composite satellite structures, that directly impact satellite control and mission success, enabling designs to be built, tested, and launched on schedule. Working closely with suppliers, engineering, and production, you’ll translate technical needs into reliable supply, manage risk, and support the scaling of satellite production.

Your day-to-day responsibilities



  • Prepare and issue RFQs and RFIs for Flight and Power Control and Structures components, and consolidate supplier responses for evaluation

What we’re looking for


Must haves:



  • 2+ years of procurement or buying experience sourcing technical hardware, ideally within aerospace, electronics, or hardware manufacturing


  • Experience preparing RFQs/RFIs and managing purchase orders end-to-end


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple orders and suppliers in parallel


  • Strong cross-functional communication and execution with engineering and production teams


  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems


  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven hardware production environment


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field


  • Comfortable working within an international supplier ecosystem



Nice to haves:



  • Familiarity with flight hardware, control systems, and composite materials supply chains


  • Exposure to scaling production in a fast-growing, technology-driven company
