Job summary

V7 Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a General Contractor delivering a 430 MW hyperscale data centre project in Finland. The role is long-term, with a 12-month contract at onset and potential to extend or move to PAYE.

Responsibilities include leading electrical works, coordinating with MEP and construction teams, managing subcontractors, reviewing documentation, and ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical Project Manager or similar senior electrical delivery role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Must have the legal right to work in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical works from planning through to completion.
• Take responsibility for electrical project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Manage electrical subcontractors, site teams and key project stakeholders.
• Coordinate electrical activities with other project disciplines, including MEP, construction and commissioning teams.
• Review programmes, drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Monitor progress, quality and productivity across the electrical package.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE procedures and relevant standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues proactively.
• Lead meetings and provide clear project updates to senior management and the client.
• Ensure electrical works are delivered in line with programme, budget and project requirements.
