Job summary

Elisa is seeking a Technology Specialist to operate and develop Linux-based platforms in a high-security environment. You will manage day-to-day operations, automation, virtualization, storage, networking, and certificate services while contributing to secure, reliable infrastructure.

The role spans data centre tasks, container tech with Kubernetes/Podman, and monitoring with Zabbix/Splunk. English is required; Finnish is a plus. Hybrid work and Finland-wide travel may be required.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux operations and management environments.
Excellent Ansible skills and ability to apply automation in operational work.
Solid experience with virtualization technologies (Nutanix & Broadcom VMware).
Understanding of data communications, storage and infra dependencies.
Interest in becoming a Certificate Authority specialist and ACME protocol knowledge.
Proactive learner with problem-solving mindset and AI adoption.
Good collaboration and communication in reliability-focused, security-conscious settings.
Professional English; Finnish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain and develop Red Hat Linux environments and management platforms.
Automate operational tasks with Ansible; improve tools and processes.
Manage virtualization infra using Nutanix and Broadcom VMware tech.
Support CA services and ACME-based certificate issuance.
Work with storage, networks, monitoring (Zabbix) and Splunk as needed.
Develop container environments with Kubernetes and Podman.
Perform data centre installation, maintenance and operations.
Apply AI tools to improve quality and efficiency.
