Job summary

Danfoss Drives Oy seeks a Grid Code Certifications Specialist to own grid-code compliance and certification across power-electronics products. You will translate requirements into actionable engineering activities, lead verification from simulations to hardware-in-the-loop tests, and collaborate with customers, certification bodies, and external partners.

Your work supports renewable energy, energy storage, data centers, and industrial power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in grid-code compliance or grid-connected power electronics.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Translate international, national, and grid-operator requirements into product and testing requirements.
• Lead verification and certification activities from simulations to hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Review converter behavior and test results to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Shape grid-code strategy and product direction based on evolving regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with customers, TSOs/DSOs, certification bodies, and engineering teams for grid-connection approvals.
