Job summary

Veikkaus Group is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data as a Service (DaaS) team at our Helsinki headquarters. You will own data integration, transformations and storage, enabling analytics across our large-scale platforms.

The role is full-time, hybrid, located in Pohjois-Haaga with office three days a week. You will work with SQL, ETL/ELT, and modern data tools (GCP, Kafka, NiFi) in an agile environment, collaborating across stakeholders and continuously improving data platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Engineer with SQL and ETL/ELT capabilities.
• Strong passion for technical data processing and developing shared practices.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and work in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing data solutions and build new ones for data delivery.
• Design and implement future data platform solutions and improve efficiency.
• Transform, store and deliver data for analytics and other solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to advance data practices and tooling.
