Job summary

Finago in Espoo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve our Databricks lakehouse that powers our ML products. You’ll design robust data pipelines, shape data models, and drive data governance as the platform scales across our products.

You’ll work closely with AI engineers and data scientists, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. Hybrid work with weekly Espoo office visits is supported.

Qualifications

• Solid background in data engineering and building data platforms.
• Experience with Databricks, Python, PySpark and SQL is preferred.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop our Databricks lakehouse platform from architecture to operations
• Roll out the platform across ML products and teams
• Design robust and scalable data pipelines and models
• Build backend and data solutions for the accounting prediction UI
• Strengthen data quality, governance, security and compliance
