Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced HV Commissioning Engineer to lead Level 1-3 commissioning activities in Espoo on a 6-month contract with a view to extension. You will oversee energisation, testing, and start-up of critical power infrastructure and coordinate with construction, engineering, and client teams.

The role requires a strong electrical background and hands-on on-site work, with responsibility for safety, documentation review, and successful handover of systems including

Qualifications

• Experience with HV electrical infrastructure commissioning.
• Strong understanding of testing, energisation, validation, and start-up activities.
• Ability to work onsite in Espoo for the duration of the project.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Level 1-3 commissioning activities across HV electrical systems.
• Support testing, validation, energisation, and start-up of critical power infrastructure.
• Commission HV switchgear, transformers, substations, UPS systems, and associated equipment.
• Review commissioning documentation, procedures, and test packs.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, vendor, and client teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues during project delivery.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing, and final handover activities.
• Ensure all commissioning activities are completed safely and in line with project specifications.
