PE Global are partnering with Europe’s only dedicated data centre delivery partner to deliver on tight EHS requirements in Helsinki, Finland. The EHS Advisor will implement policies, conduct site inspections, and drive safety across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 2–5 years in EHS on construction/engineering sites, NEBOSH/IOSH desirable, and strong communication to engage site teams and subcontractors while maintaining EHS documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Advise project teams on health & safety best practices and compliance requirements
• Assist in ensuring compliance with environmental and sustainability requirements

We currently have requirements for an EHS Advisor to join their expanding team in Helsinki, Finland. This role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a strong safety culture across the project.

This is a full time permanent position operating on a shift rotational roster with all flights, accommodation, transport + a weekly NET subsistence income all completely covered. Please note, candidates must have a valid EU/UK Passport or have the appropriate working visa. There is no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance on offer.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or similar discipline
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in an EHS role within construction or engineering
• Good knowledge of health & safety legislation, standards, and best practices
• Experience supporting EHS activities on construction sites
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to engage with site teams and promote safe working practices
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent) are desirable
• Data centre, industrial, or mission‑critical project experience is advantageous
