Job summary

IQM Finland Oy is seeking a VP of Product to translate technical milestones and R&D breakthroughs into a scalable, commercial product roadmap. You’ll lead our product team and collaborate with Technology and Commercial leadership to shape a practical path for cloud, HPC centers, and industry partners worldwide.

You’ll drive governance across on-prem hardware, software, and cloud offerings, build a high-performing team, and balance customer needs with technical feasibility and long-term strategy.

Qualifications

• A Master's or PhD in engineering, physics, computer science, business, or a related field.
• Significant senior leadership experience (10+ years) in product management.
• Experience in deep tech, R&D intensive, or scientific product environments.
• Track record translating company strategy and customer insights into product strategy.
• Experience translating technical innovation into scalable, commercially viable products.
• Experience configuring a product portfolio for maximum customer value and commercial results.
• Strong executive level communication skills and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Translate IQM's milestones into a clear, scalable product roadmap with internal stakeholders.
• Own product governance across on-premises hardware, software, integration, and cloud offerings.
• Lead and build a high-performing Product team with strong growth.
• Guide the shift from research to industrial QEC/FTQC systems.
• Identify new market opportunities with Sales and Commercial teams.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic prioritization and budgeting.
• Balance customer requirements, feasibility, and long-term strategy in decisions.
• Represent IQM at global summits and industry events.
