Job summary

Elmery Oy invites a hands-on Test & Equipment Engineer to join its Helsinki technology team. You will design, build, operate and improve equipment and test setups used in technology development, covering mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation aspects.

Based at our facilities with occasional international travel, you will own equipment from concept to commissioning and maintenance, work across labs and pilot-scale testing, and contribute to reliable, scalable solutions for

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering or technical education.
• Practical experience in equipment development, prototyping, testing or maintenance.
• Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation systems.
• Willingness to learn and take on unfamiliar tasks.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of equipment from design to operation and improvement.
• Develop experimental concepts into practical, scalable solutions across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation systems.
• Ensure reliability, availability and safe operation through preventive and corrective maintenance and part planning.
• Support laboratory and pilot-scale testing, including setup and troubleshooting.
• Identify improvements and document technical modifications and results.
• Collaborate with researchers, technicians and the technology team on safe, efficient operation.
