Job summary

Pirkanmaan hyvinvointialue is seeking a permanent district physician to join our skilled team in Tampere. The role includes reception work, acute on-call duties, and health centre or school health responsibilities, with opportunities to shape a long-term career in basic health services.

You will gain experience with the continuity of care model and may work shifts in a digital clinic. There are on-call evenings (Mon–Thu 16:00–20:00) at Hatanpää or Ylöjärvi about 1–2 times per month, with

Qualifications

• Licensed physician in Finland.
• General medicine specialization is advantageous.
• Experience in health centre physician role is valued.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties and acute on-call work as part of daily tasks.
• Health centre or school health duties as assigned.
• Contribute to continuity of care and participate in a digital clinic when needed.
• On-call evenings Mon–Thu 16:00–20:00 at Hatanpää or Ylöjärvi 1–2 times monthly.
