Job summary

Pirkanmaan hyvinvointialue in Orivesi seeks a versatile primary care physician to treat patients of all ages at a six-doctor GP station. You will tailor duties to your competencies and interests, with on-call emergency care during office hours and opportunities to work in maternity and school health services.

The role includes performing minor procedures, contributing to service development with a skilled team, and potential to take on administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician in Finland.
• Good Finnish language skills.
• Experience in general practice is an advantage.
• Provide health certificates within one month of starting.
• Undergo a medical examination by occupational health services.
• Valid vaccination protection under the Infectious Diseases Act.

Responsibilities

• On-call emergency care during office hours; ambulances bring patients to the station and then transfer to the ward.
• Work in maternity and school health services, if desired.
• Perform minor procedures regularly.
• Opportunity to advance professionally, contribute to service development with a skilled team, and potentially take on administrative responsibilities.
