Job summary

VTT is a leading applied research organisation in Europe, focused on solving the biggest challenges of our time and turning them into sustainable growth. We are seeking a Research Scientist for CMOS integrated 2D sensors with a strong background in semiconductor physics, electronics, or process integration.

You will develop and carry out research on integrated sensors and 2D/1D devices, focusing on graphene and carbon nanotube materials and their fabrication.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in physics, electronics, or closely related field.
• Experience in design and fabrication of 2D-material-based components.
• Excellent communications skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Process development and characterization of graphene and/or carbon nanotube components.
• Solving complex nanofabrication challenges.
• Communicating and solving problems in collaboration with others at VTT.
