Job summary

Safegrid, a G&W Electric Company, is seeking a Senior SW Project Manager in Turku, Finland, to coordinate quarterly planning, maintain delivery visibility, and support multidisciplinary software development across Finland and the US.

You will work with the Director of Engineering & Product and specialists across backend, data, UI/UX, and DevOps, ensuring structured execution, informed decisions, and continuous improvement of processes.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in technical project or program management in software or technology development.
Strong understanding of software development processes and dependencies.
Planning, scheduling, LOE and capacity planning, dependency and risk management, resource planning and reporting.
Experience coordinating across backend, data, UI/UX, DevOps/infrastructure, integrations, and related areas.
Experience with geographically distributed development teams across Europe and North America.
Excellent facilitation, reporting, and English-language communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/SE/EE with familiarity with delivery tools.

Responsibilities

Support quarterly planning and consolidate LOE, resources, dependencies, and risks into a quarter-level view.
Coordinate the continuous product process from planning to release and completion.
Maintain delivery visibility across active initiatives and prepare management reporting materials.
Facilitate follow-ups to clarify progress, blockers, actions, and ownership.
Identify resource conflicts and support allocation, onboarding, and efficient use of resources.
Coordinate impact assessment and keep stakeholders informed during urgent work or deviations.
Continuously improve software R&D coordination practices.
