Job summary

Metso is seeking a Process Owner, Manufacturing to lead end-to-end manufacturing planning processes in a global, hybrid role spanning Espoo, Tampere, Turku (Finland) or Irapuato (Mexico). The position emphasizes system design, standardization, and continuous improvement aligned with business objectives and operational needs.

You will report to Head of Manufacturing and collaborate with production, IT, and supply planning to drive standardization, governance, and best practices across factories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong experience with manufacturing and production-related IT systems.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production stages from a systems perspective.
• Proactive and hands-on approach to process and system management.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop, and maintain the global manufacturing planning process framework from a system perspective, including standards and governance.
• Communicate, train, and support production unit personnel for a consistent global way of working.
• Ensure production units have the required capabilities and support for manufacturing-related systems.
• Act as SAP key user and process owner for Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules.
• Own and develop other manufacturing-related data systems and processes as required.
• Resolve system-related challenges and support requests from production units.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across production, supply planning, and IT to continuously improve processes.
