Job summary

Orion Corporation in Espoo, Finland is seeking a senior forecasting professional to own pipeline and business development forecasts and to refine epidemiology-driven models. You will design scenario analyses and ensure forecast outputs feed regional planning, budget updates and portfolio reviews.

You will triangulate data with real-world evidence and market research, partner across Commercial Pipeline, Market Access, and Medical Affairs, and contribute to executive reports and investment cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sciences or Finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech Forecasting, Analytics, Strategic Planning and/or Finance.
• Proven forecasting experience and strong Excel/data analysis skills.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical product development, US/European payer dynamics and epidemiology.
• Ability to triangulate data and generate market insights.

Responsibilities

• Creation and ongoing ownership of pipeline and business development forecasts.
• Builds and refines epidemiology-driven patient flow models and treatment algorithms.
• Designs scenario analyses to inform forecast sensitivities.
• Incorporates forecast assumptions into regional planning, budgeting and portfolio reviews.
• Tracks key market and organizational performance indicators.
• Triangulates forecast data with secondary data and primary market research.
• Partners with Commercial Pipeline, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Patient Advocacy.
• Supports alignment of forecasting for Business Development.
• Prepares executive-level reports and investment cases.

• Tracks key market and organizational performance indicators
• Triangulatesforecast assumptions and outputs withsecondary data, real-worldevidenceand primary market research to generate insights aroundmarket opportunity, unmet need, and competitive dynamics
• Partnersdirectlywith CommercialPipeline Team,Market Access,MedicalAffairs, ClinicalDevelopment,and Patient Advocacyto align assumptions andorganizational deliverables
• Supportsalignment of key assumptions and forecasting forBusiness Development team
• Supports and createsexecutive-levelreports(e.g.governance reviews, investment cases, Business Developmentevaluations)

Preferred

• Working familiaritywithsecondarydataresources (e.g., IQVIA,Komodo,GlobalData, Citeline, patient registries, Clarivate, Oracle, ONCrg, Biomedtracker, OncologyPipeline, Beacon)
• Oncology experience
• Experience using Artificial Intelligence toolsfor forecastingand/or market analysis
• Business Development forecasting experience
• Market Research experience
• Strong communicator with intellectual curiosity and strategic mindset
