Job summary

Orion Pharma in Espoo seeks a forecasting and analytics professional to own pipeline forecasting, modeling, and regional planning processes. You will develop epidemiology-driven patient flow models and scenario analyses to inform forecasts and inform executive decisions.

With 3–5 years in pharma forecasting, you will triangulate data with market research and align with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and reports that support business development and strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sciences or Finance.
  • 3–5 years in pharma/biotech forecasting, analytics, strategic planning or finance.
  • Demonstrated forecasting experience.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong thought partnership.
  • Strong understanding of pharma product development and US/EU market dynamics.
  • Epidemiology and patient treatment algorithm knowledge.
  • Data triangulation to generate insights.

Responsibilities

  • Creation and ongoing ownership of pipeline and business development forecasts.
  • Builds and refines epidemiology-driven patient flow models and treatment algorithms.
  • Designs scenario analyses to inform forecast sensitivities.
  • Ensures incorporation of forecast assumptions and outputs into regional planning processes.
  • Tracks key market and organizational performance indicators.
  • Triangulates forecast assumptions with data to generate insights on market opportunity and competitive dynamics.
  • Partners with Commercial Pipeline Team, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Patient Advocacy to align assumptions and deliverables.
  • Supports alignment of key forecasting assumptions for Business Development.
  • Supports and creates executive-level reports.

  • Partners with Commercial Pipeline Team, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Patient Advocacy to align assumptions and deliverables
  • Supports alignment of key assumptions and forecasting for Business Development
  • Supports and creates executive-level reports

What are we looking for?
Key Qualifications – Required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sciences or Finance
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech Forecasting, Analytics, Strategic Planning and/or Finance
  • Demonstrated forecasting experience
  • Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools

  • Strong understanding of:
