Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Data Center Service Operations Manager to oversee operations across our UK and European Global Data Centres. The role focuses on delivering consistent service, driving continuous improvement, and managing day-to-day operations across multiple sites.

You will lead cross-functional meetings, manage action plans, oversee project timelines, and ensure deliverables meet EOS and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing global technical teams supporting server deployments and operational environments.
• Experience driving process improvements and systems development, including the use of automation to streamline workflows.
• Demonstrated experience managing change control processes and conducting maintenance activities within production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in planning, execution, and delivery of data centre and server operations initiatives.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials across projects and operational activities.
• Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with project requirements, operational standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Proactively identify operational risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruption and ensure SLAs are met.
• Prepare and present regular status reports, project updates, and performance metrics for stakeholders.
• Lead post-project reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement and service innovation.
