Alma Media is looking for an experienced full-stack developer with a backend and infrastructure emphasis. You’ll design, build, and maintain features while helping shape architecture and ways of working. You’ll work across the stack, including frontend, with production‑oriented, scalable solutions.

The role involves cloud infrastructure, IaC, DevOps, CI/CD, and collaboration within a small, autonomous team. A flexible hybrid model offers offices in Helsinki, Tampere, and Turku Kupittaa area.

Qualificações

• Several years of software development experience and the ability to design, build, and maintain services running in production.
• Strong backend skills and a solid understanding of service architectures and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code (IaC), DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Experience with databases and data modeling.
• Readiness to make changes across the entire application stack, including the frontend.
• The ability to use AI tools effectively as part of your everyday development work.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, and a desire to help develop the team’s ways of working.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for an experienced full stack developer with several years of hands‑on experience with our technology stack, a senior in the making, or someone who has recently stepped into a senior role. Your expertise should lean toward the backend and infrastructure, while you’re also comfortable working across the full stack when needed. What matters most is a desire to build high‑quality, maintainable software and to keep developing your own skills. You’ll take part in designing, building, and maintaining new features, and help the team shape our technical solutions, ways of working, and architecture.

You’ll Fit Right In If You Have

• Several years of software development experience and the ability to design, build, and maintain services running in production
