Job summary

Edenred Finland is offering a Finance intern position in a dynamic, international finance team until summer 2027. You will quickly expand your finance knowledge and gain exposure to daily operations in a leading global company.

You will work across departments, handle AP, reconciliations, and reporting, and use advanced Excel. We value initiative, accuracy, and teamwork, with a flexible work arrangement and salary of 2400€ per month.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, or close to completing studies.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounts payable process daily by preparing invoices for approval and allocating costs.
• Respond to finance-related queries from clients and merchants (invoices, credit notes, etc.).
• Support the reconciliation of payments and accuracy of financial records.
• Manage user access to finance tools and systems.
• Support Finance team and CFO with ad hoc analyses related to financial reporting, cost, and budgeting.

YOUR ROLE

Are you willing to quickly expand your Finance knowledge in a dynamic and international financial controlling team and within a fast-growing & client-orientated company? If so, you might be the Finance intern that Edenred Finland is looking for in the finance department until summer 2027.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will support our Finance team in daily operations and gain valuable exposure to a wide range of finance processes. You will work closely with colleagues across different departments and interact with both internal and external stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in accounting, reconciliations, financial administration, and reporting, while learning how finance supports the day-to-day business in a leading international company.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Owning the accounts payable process on a daily basis by preparing incoming invoices for approval and allocating costs to the correct accounts and cost centres.
• Responding to finance-related queries from clients and merchants, such as questions concerning invoices, credit notes, and other finance matters.
• Supporting the reconciliation of payments and the accuracy of financial records.
• Managing user access to various finance tools and systems.
• Supporting the Finance team and the Chief Financial Officer with ad hoc analyses related to financial reporting, cost, and budgeting.

YOUR PROFILE

You will excel in this role if you are/have:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance, or you are close to completing your studies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A willingness to learn, support others, and take initiative.
• A flexible, energetic, and proactive approach to teamwork.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Previous experience in finance or accounting, would be considered an asset.
• Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English, as Edenred is a truly international company.

You will join a collaborative and international team of around 70 professionals in Finland. We work with ambition and high goals, but we also value a supportive culture where people help each other succeed and celebrate achievements together.

EXPECTED START DATE

We will fill the position as soon as the right candidate is found. More important than a certain starting date is to find the right person for the team.

• This is a full-time, fixed-term intern position with a monthly salary of 2400€.
