Job summary

MS0275 GE Healthcare Finland Oy is seeking a highly motivated Field Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair Mammography and Interventional Imaging systems across Finland. This customer-facing role requires extensive travel and strong problem-solving skills in hospital environments.

You will work with radiology departments, biomedical engineers, and hospital IT personnel to ensure optimal system performance and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical education in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, IT, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of X-ray technology and imaging systems.
• Experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Mammography and C-arm systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system integration issues.
• Execute system installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and radiation safety requirements.
• Support customers to minimize downtime and maximize performance.
• Collaborate with clinical users, hospital IT departments, and project teams.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
• Participate in on-call and emergency support activities.
