Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Field Supervisor in Vaasa, Finland, to lead a team of service technicians within the Region NCE – Service Onshore North. The role focuses on executing service plans, driving safety, quality and cost efficiency while developing the team and ensuring cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of leadership experience, strong financial acumen, and a proven ability to motivate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years' experience leading teams of at least 10 people with readiness for working with numbers and problem solving.
Ability to deliver results through others and manage performance discussions.
Comfortable handling tough discussions to drive team outcomes.
Experience contributing to a learning organization and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Manage the most efficient execution of the plan, setting operational expectations and routines for technicians.
Follow up performance, ensuring safety, quality and timeliness of work and reporting progress.
Be responsible for hiring of and performance discussions with technicians.
Proactively cooperate with stakeholders in Service Sweden/Nordic and other internal departments.
Be aligned with company decisions and follow processes adequate for the service business.
Maintain strong business sense and economical understanding to produce results.
Lead by example as a strong people leader and motivator.
