About the role and the team

As a Fiber Project Manager, you’ll play a hands‑on role in ensuring our fiber network stays safe, smart, and ready for the future. You’ll manage contractors, liaise with local authorities and municipalities, plan maintenance or repairs, minimize disruptions, avoid incidents, and keep quality high while controlling costs. Your day‑to‑day tasks involve measurements and inspections, coordinating forced fiber moves, reviewing plans, and solving unexpected hiccups—always protecting what keeps Finland connected.

What you’ll be working on

• Handling maintenance, fiber relocations, and permanent repairs across the Finnish fiber network
• Ensuring quality of fiber network handover from construction to operations
• Acting as the go‑to person for local authorities, municipalities, and contractors
• Planning and executing projects that prevent damage and reduce downtime
• Making decisions that balance budget and quality
• Participating in ongoing improvement initiatives within the team

Location

This role is based on‑site in Helsinki with some travel as needed.
