Job summary

GlobalConnect is looking for a Fiber Project Manager to oversee the maintenance and protection of the fiber infrastructure in Helsinki. The role involves managing contractors, liaising with local authorities, and planning maintenance to ensure quality service. Successful candidates must have project management experience in fiber or telecom, be fluent in Finnish, and hold a valid driver’s license. This position is on-site with some travel involved.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage contractors and liaise with local authorities.
• Plan maintenance or repairs and minimize disruptions.
• Ensure quality of fiber network handover from construction to operations.
• Plan and execute projects that prevent damage and reduce downtime.
