At ANDRITZ, together we create what's next . Our engineers contribute to technologies, products, and solutions that shape the future of sustainable industries worldwide.
We develop innovative technologies that support a more sustainable future for the pulp and paper industry.
We are now looking for a Start-up Engineer to join our Fiberline team. In this role, you will play an important part in the successful commissioning and start-up of international fiberline projects, ensuring that equipment and processes are ready for safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
As a Start-up Engineer, you will work closely with customers, project teams, commissioning teams, and engineering experts. You will plan and execute commissioning and start-up activities, support customer training on site, carry out contractual take-over test runs, and provide hands‑on technical support during critical project phases. This is a role for someone who enjoys working close to the process, solving practical challenges, and making things happen in an international project environment.
You have a technical education, preferably a Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology (process, energy, mechanical). Previous experience in process commissioning, start-up work, or fiberline processes is considered an advantage, but it is not mandatory. More important is your practical mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work in changing site and project environments. You enjoy combining technical understanding with hands‑on problem solving. You are comfortable working with customers, project teams, and engineering colleagues, and you can communicate clearly in English both in writing and verbally.
This is an opportunity to work close to the heart of international pulp and paper projects, where your contribution has a direct impact on successful customer start‑ups and safe plant operations. You will be part of a global project environment where practical technical expertise, collaboration, and continuous learning are highly valued.
Location can be any ANDRITZ Oy location in Finland.
