Job summary

The role is primarily home-based with offices in Helsinki area. Requires Valvira registration, Finnish fluency, good English, and a car for client visits.

Qualifications

• University of applied sciences degree in social or health care (sosionomi AMK) with Valvira registration.
• At least 1 year of family work experience.
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Finnish and good English; other languages a plus.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude, good organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and under changing circumstances.
• Own car for client visits.

Responsibilities

Job description

ANNU social services seeks a motivated, responsible and customer-service oriented social worker (sosionomi AMK) for a permanent position in the capital region, mainly Espoo and Kirkkonummi. The role involves home-based family work including family work, intensified family work, professional support work and home care for families with children. Work is primarily in clients’ homes and the area focuses on West Uusimaa with emphasis on Espoo and Kirkkonummi. Working hours are generally weekdays 12:00–20:00, with occasional morning and weekend shifts as needed.

Requirements include a university of applied sciences degree in social or health care (sosionomi AMK) with registration to Valvira, at least 1 year of family work experience, good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly, excellent communication skills, fluent Finnish and good English (other languages a plus), proactive problem-solving attitude, good organizational and prioritization skills, ability to work independently and under changing circumstances, and own car for client visits.
