Job summary

Turun Ylioppilaskyläsäätiö (TYS) seeks a Kiinteistöpalvelujohtaja to lead the property maintenance and facilities team in Turku. The role oversees maintenance of existing properties, planning, and technical services, guiding a six-person team and reporting to the CEO.

The position offers long-term property services development with a capable team and a broad benefits package including health care and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Technical education in building services or real estate.
• Experience in property maintenance leadership and strategic development.
• Strong collaboration and communication in Finnish and English.
• Proven people management and development skills.
• Fluent Finnish and working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Management of the team’s staff, finances and operations.
• Planning and development of maintenance and technical services.
• Leading maintenance life-cycle planning and implementation.
• Preparing and controlling budgets.
• Managing external service providers and contracts.
• Steering public tenders and framework agreements.
• Lifecycle management and reliability of properties.
• Reporting and stakeholder collaboration.
