Job summary

Vincit is seeking a Fabric Analytics Engineer to work across a diverse set of customer projects, building Lakehouses and semantic models in Microsoft Fabric while guiding best practices for reporting.

You will collaborate with business users and data engineers, tackle production issues, and help shape data architecture with a customer-first approach and strong problem-solving skills in Finnish and English.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric with senior level expertise.
Strong Power BI experience, ideally Power BI Premium.
Understanding of data warehousing and semantic modeling.
Experience with Data Factory, Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions.
Experience building analytics & reporting at enterprise scale.
Customer-first, self-driven attitude.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Fluent Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

Work across Fabric platform to build and maintain Lakehouses, data warehouses, and semantic models.
Advising on existing solutions – reviewing and improving reports and guiding customers on content restrictions and distribution.
Supporting development teams and business users – working with data engineers and stakeholders to keep reports reliable.
Troubleshooting production data model or refresh issues quickly when a critical report stops working.
Governance and big-picture thinking – spotting when fixes should become broader data-model improvements.
