Job summary

Vincit is seeking a Fabric Analytics Engineer to join our team and work across a diverse portfolio of customers. You will design, develop, and implement modern data lakehouse solutions and reporting, including platform and pipeline work as well as Power BI reporting based on your preferences.

You will advise customers on best practices for content restrictions and distribution, and help identify when broader data-model improvements are needed for governance.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric with strong, established skills.
• Solid experience with Power BI, ideally including Power BI Premium environments.
• Understanding of data warehousing and semantic modeling.
• Experience with Data Factory, Lakehouse & Warehouse solutions.
• Experience building data analytics & reporting solutions at Enterprise scale.
• A customer-first, self-driven attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Working across the Fabric platform – building and maintaining Lakehouses, Data warehouses, and Semantic Models within Microsoft Fabric.
• Advising on existing solutions – reviewing and improving reports built by others, and guiding customers on best practices for content restrictions and distribution.
• Supporting development teams and business users – working closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to keep reports reliable and useful.
• Solving production issues – troubleshooting data model or refresh problems quickly when a critical report stops working.
• Governance and the bigger picture – spotting when a one-off fix should actually be a broader improvement in the data model or ways of working.
