Job summary

Ernst & Young in Helsinki is offering a traineeship in EY Consulting, providing a glimpse into the consulting life and enabling you to contribute on real projects. The traineeship lasts for 5-6 months starting in January 2027, with the application period open until 20.9.2026.

As a trainee you will support proposals, client materials, data analysis, meetings and workshops, and project management activities while developing your presentation, communication and Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Graduates or soon-to-be graduates in economics, social sciences, humanities, mathematics, statistics, analytics, computer science, information systems, engineering, accounting, or a related field.
• Good skills in MS Office.
• Fluent English (written and oral). Finnish language skills are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

You will work on real projects and experience what it is like to work as a consultant at EY. The traineeship lasts for 5-6 months starting in January 2027. The opportunity: your next adventure awaits

As a trainee, your daily tasks will vary depending on your team and projects. You may contribute to preparing proposals and client materials, analysing data, supporting client meetings and workshops, and assisting with project management activities. You will develop your project management, presentation, communication, Excel and PowerPoint skills. If you have advanced technical skills, you may also work with data analytics, cybersecurity such as ethical hacking or penetration testing, or SAP.

  • Graduates or soon-to-be graduates in economics, social sciences, humanities, mathematics, statistics, advanced analytics, computer science, information systems, engineering, accounting, business analytics, or a similar field.   • Good skills in MS Office. Other technical skills (programming languages, analytics tools etc.) are considered an asset.
  • Fluent skills in English (written and oral). Finnish language skills are considered an asset.

Salary & Background Check

• The role-specific hourly wage is determined based on completed study credits and ranges between 15,50–18,70€/h. We will review the official transcript of records of all new employees before the employment begins.

  • Verification of work permit in Finland
