Job summary

EFESO Nordics is seeking an experienced Consultant/Senior Consultant to join our Nordic operations excellence and value chain practice. You will deliver engagements, lead workstreams, and coach client teams while building long-term relationships with stakeholders across manufacturing and supply chains.

You bring a deep industry background in Discrete Manufacturing or Forest & Packaging, plus a track record of measurable improvements and strong analytical and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience within Discrete Manufacturing or Forest & Packaging industry
• Background in MAKE or Value Chain, both welcome
• Track record of delivering measurable operational improvements
• Clear spike expertise plus broad understanding of industrial operations
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, credible from shop floor to boardroom
• Experience of project or workstream management, ideally in a consulting environment

We are now strengthening our Nordic team with an experienced consultant on Principal level who knows industrial operations from the inside, either from Discrete Manufacturing or Forest & Packaging Industry. Whether your background is in manufacturing/operations excellence (MAKE) or Value Chain, and whether you come from consulting or from an industrial role, what matters most is your credibility, drive, and ability to deliver real results.

The role

As a Consultant / Senior Consultant at EFESO Nordics, you will:

• Deliver and manage client engagements within Operations Excellence (WCOM/TPM/Lean) and/or Value Chain (S&OP, planning, footprint, inventory, cost-to-serve)
• Lead project workstreams end-to-end; scoping, delivery, quality, and impact

Your profile

You are an experienced professional who combines deep industry understanding with strong delivery capability. You are likely to have:

• 10+ years of relevant experience within Discrete Manufacturing or Forest & Packaging industry
• A background in either MAKE or Value Chain, both are equally welcome
• A track record of delivering measurable operational improvements
• At least one clear area of spike expertise, combined with a broad understanding of industrial operations
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, credible from shop floor to boardroom
• Experience of project or workstream management, ideally in a consulting environment

Requirements

• Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering, or equivalent, or strong industrial experience that compensates for formal background
• Fluent English; Swedish, Finnish, or German at working level is a strong advantage
• Proficient in Excel and standard consulting tools
• Driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Nordics

Experience with WCOM, TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, S&OP/IBP, Industry 4.0, advanced analytics, or Industrial AI is considered an advantage.
