Job summary

Sweco Finland Oy seeks a Project Director to lead large industrial investment projects, from early development through handover, including EPCM or similar delivery models. You will drive strategic and commercial outcomes, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and aligning with clients and partners.

You are a seasoned leader with 10+ years in project leadership, able to manage complex interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior project leadership experience in industrial investments.
• Proven record delivering industrial projects via EPCM or equivalent.
• English communication strong; Finnish/Swedish an advantage.

We are looking for experiencedProject Directorsto joinSweco’sgrowing industrialprojectsorganisation.

In this role, you will lead demanding multidisciplinary industrialprojects from earlyproject developmentthrough execution and handover. Yourprojects may follow EPCM or similar delivery models and can include a broad range of industrial investments, such asprocessindustry and datacentreprojects.

As aProject Director, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of large and demanding industrial investmentprojects, or broaderproject portfolios. You will lead theproject at a strategic and commercial level, from earlyproject developmentthrough execution,commissioningand handover.

We are looking for seniorprofessionals with strong experience in leadingproject delivery, building high-performingprojectorganisationsand working closely with clients and partners. The role may require travel within Finland and, depending on theproject, internationally.

What helps you succeed in this role

You have a relevant technical degree (BSc,MScor equivalentengineering qualification) and 10+ years of experience in seniorproject leadership roles. You have aproventrack recordof successfully delivering industrial investmentprojects and strong experience in EPCM, PMC, Owner’sEngineeringor similar industrialproject delivery environments.

You are an experiencedproject leader with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, build and develop high-performingprojectorganisations, and manage complex interfaces across engineering,procurement,constructionand commissioning.You are comfortable leading largeprojectorganisations,managing schedules, budgets, risks and commercial matters, and working effectively with clients and diverse stakeholders.

You communicate and negotiate confidently in English; Finnish and/or Swedish skills are an advantage.

Experiencefromprojects withinprocess industries, energy, manufacturing, mining, chemicals and datacentresis particularly valued.
