Job summary

DayOne is expanding its global data infrastructure leadership by seeking a Business Development Manager to drive large-scale data center developments from origin to delivery in Finland and Europe. You will coordinate land, power, utilities, connectivity, and permitting while engaging with municipalities, utilities, and regulators.

The role requires proactive, self-directed work, and strong stakeholder management in English and Finnish, with willingness to travel across Finland and Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience in project development for data centers or large-scale infra with multiple workstreams.
• Understanding of land development, zoning and permitting processes.
• Knowledge of electricity and electrical infrastructure to engage with utilities and grid operators.
• Ability to coordinate resource readiness in land, power, utilities or related infra.
• Proactive, self-directed work style with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
• Proficient in English and Finnish; willingness to travel in Finland and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development activities for data center projects from site origination through delivery.
• Oversee land, power, utilities, connectivity and permitting workstreams.
• Ensure resource readiness aligns with timelines, investments and business objectives.
• Maintain visibility on current and pipeline projects, milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate with internal teams across Development, Engineering, Finance, Legal and Operations.
• Translate technical inputs into clear, decision-ready information.
