Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager - Security Standards and Hardening in Finland. You will lead a team of engineers responsible for applying rigorous security practices across operating systems, cloud, and edge environments, while aligning with frameworks such as FIPS, CIS, STIG, FedRAMP, and the Cyber Resilience Act.

You’ll guide security initiatives, advance cryptographic modules, and collaborate with industry partners to influence secure deployments across open-source infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/STEM or equivalent.
• Experience with FIPS or Common Criteria products and related security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support a team of engineers at varying levels of seniority.
• Coach team members, provide career guidance, and deliver actionable feedback.
• Establish and monitor team health indicators and foster a high-performing culture.
• Implement disciplined engineering processes and promote best practices.
• Represent the team with stakeholders, customers, and the open-source community.
• Plan and manage progress against engineering goals and deliverables.
• Support products in meeting strict security requirements and standards.
