Job summary

AFRY Finland is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join the Industry Division Project Delivery Tools team and advance AFRY’s engineering tools, integrations, and digital solutions.

Your work location can be any AFRY Finland site with a flexible hybrid work model. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage requirements, and contribute to secure, compliant, and scalable tool delivery using modern methods and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Broad range of software development modalities across international teams.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, and data/AI specialists.
• Prepare and manage technical and functional requirements and documentation.
• Participate in backlog management, prioritization, risk management, and reporting via Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with IT and security for compliant and secure delivery.
• Promote Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and collaboration across tools.

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to work together with AFRY Finland Industry Division Project Delivery Tools team and to further develop, maintain, and support AFRY’s internally developed engineering tools, integrations, and digital solutions.

Your primary place of work can be any AFRY Finland location. AFRY supports a flexible hybrid work model.

To ensure continuity and further development of AFRY’s engineering tool platform, your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaboration in cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, and data/AI specialists
• Prepare and manage technical and functional requirements and documentation
• Participating in backlog management, prioritization, risk management, and transparent reporting through Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliant and secure solution delivery
• Promote modern engineering practices including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted ways of working (like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code)
• Identify opportunities and contribute to improving efficiency, scalability, innovation, and collaboration across the engineering tools landscape

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have experience with:

• Proven experience in a broad range of software development modalities in cross-functional and international environments
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies
• Solid technical background enabling effective communication with engineering and IT teams
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs, enterprise applications, and application architecture
• Experience with Azure DevOps/Jira, GitLab, CI/CD, and modern development practices
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-driven development approaches and modern collaboration tools
• Understanding of plant engineering tools, workflows, and digital engineering environments
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills and a consultive mindset
