Job summary

Visual Components in Espoo, Finland, is hiring an Engineering Lead to establish and guide the Product Infra team. You will focus on architecture, deployment pipelines, and scalable infrastructure to support a growing set of customers and use cases.

You will work closely with DevOps and QA, drive improvements to build systems and dependency management, and stay hands-on in architectural design while mentoring the team. The role follows a hybrid onsite model.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a software team and driving delivery.
• Hands-on with C# and C++ and modern software practices.
• Strong build, dependency management, and automation skills.
• Experience modernizing legacy monolithic software projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Product Infra team through regular 1:1s and growth plans.
• Drive improvements in product customization and desktop build systems.
• Manage dependencies and SBOM reporting for the platform.
• Improve test infrastructure and collaborate with QA and DevOps.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and support agile ceremonies.
• Provide technical oversight, architecture reviews, and code quality guidance.
