Job summary

Wärtsilä, a global leader in marine and energy technologies, seeks an IT Business Partner, Energy. In Energy Data and Digital Operations, you’ll translate business needs into IT demand and portfolio priorities, helping build a strategic IT landscape for Energy.

The role is located in Helsinki, Vaasa or Turku with hybrid work. You will partner with Energy stakeholders, drive governance, portfolio priorities, and value delivery, enabling sustainable decarbonisation through digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT or a relevant field.
• Ability to translate business priorities into clear IT demand and delivery plans.
• Experience in establishing governance forums and portfolio management and/or transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and IT teams.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT contact for Energy stakeholders, ensuring IT demand, delivery and operations align with business priorities.
• Facilitate governance, portfolio priorities, value delivery, risks and progress for Energy IT.
• Build awareness of IT, data and digitalisation activities across Energy and cross-business teams.
• Link business needs with governance forums, portfolio priorities and IT delivery capabilities.
• Drive selected business demands or initiatives, new capabilities and process renewal.
• Support IT delivery and escalation management for quality and timely resolution.
• Lead change management and IT operating model initiatives and automation efforts.
