Job summary

Cognizant Finland is seeking an EUC Architect to define and own the EUC architecture strategy, roadmap, and design standards for enterprise environments. This architect-level role requires 10–15+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure and a focus on End User Computing and digital workplace services in Finland.

You will lead technical governance, drive Zero Trust and endpoint security strategies, and engage stakeholders in solutioning and workshops to shape modern workplace

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years as EUC Architect or equivalent in enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong EUC / Digital Workplace knowledge with Intune, SCCM and Autopilot.
• Hands-on with Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop and VMware Horizon.
• Experience with Azure and Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Ability to work within ITSM controls across change, incident and security.
• Proven ownership, analytical troubleshooting and strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Design EUC solutions across endpoint management and VDI/DaaS.
• Provide architecture oversight for EUC services and platforms.
• Lead workplace transformation including Windows modernisation and cloud services.
• Architect endpoints with Intune, SCCM, Autopilot and lifecycle management.
• Design and optimise VDI using Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop and Horizon.
• Integrate EUC with Azure and enterprise identity services (AD/Entra ID).
• Drive Zero Trust, endpoint security, automation, patching and deployment strategies.
• Support solutioning, workshops, and continuous improvement.

About the Team / Business Unit

This role sits within our client's Infrastructure and Digital Workplace Services organisation, delivered by Cognizant as part of an updated enterprise support model. The team is responsible for the End User Computing & Digital Workplace tower, working closely with security, service management, and business stakeholders to keep the client's technology estate resilient, secure, and future-ready across Finland.

About You:

You bring deep expertise across endpoint management, VDI/DaaS, and modern workplace platforms, and are experienced in leading workplace transformation initiatives. You are comfortable providing technical governance, driving Zero Trust and endpoint security strategies, and engaging with stakeholders on solutioning and technical workshops.

Your Key Result Areas:

• Design solutions across endpoint management, VDI/DaaS, and modern workplace platforms.
• Provide technical governance and architecture oversight for EUC services and platforms.
• Lead workplace transformation initiatives, including Windows modernisation, Intune adoption, and cloud-based workplace services.
• Architect endpoint platforms covering Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, and device lifecycle management.
• Design and optimise VDI solutions using Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, and VMware Horizon.
• Integrate EUC platforms with Azure and enterprise identity services such as Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Drive Zero Trust, endpoint security, compliance, automation, patching, and application deployment strategies.
• Support solutioning, RFP responses, technical workshops, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.

Must Haves:

1. 1.) 10-15+ years of hands-on experience as a EUC Architect (or equivalent Architect role) within enterprise infrastructure environments.
2. 2.) Strong working knowledge of EUC / Digital Workplace and Intune, SCCM, Autopilot.
3. 3.) Demonstrated experience in Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon.
4. 4.) Working knowledge of Azure, Active Directory / Entra ID.
5. 5.) Ability to work within enterprise change, incident, problem, security, audit, and service management (ITSM) controls.
6. 6.) Strong ownership, analytical troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and documentation discipline.
