Job summary

Vertiv in Stockholm, Sweden is seeking an experienced EHS Construction Specialist to support large infrastructure projects across the EMEA region. You will develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, coordinate on-site safety plans, manage subcontractor safety, and lead risk assessments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in OH&S or related field, 3+ years in construction, knowledge of EMEA regulations, fall protection experience, strong English (B2) and Swedish, MS Office proficiency, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OH&S, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in construction projects, preferably international.
• Knowledge of EMEA safety regulations and EU directives.
• Fall protection and working-at-height experience preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• English proficiency at least B2; Swedish native level.
• Driver’s license (Category B) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain site safety plans and safety programs for large projects.
• Manage subcontractor safety including pre-qualification and audits.
• Coordinate safety trainings and orientations for site personnel.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Prepare monthly safety reports and track safety performance metrics.
• Support activities with customer requirements and on-site safety improvements.
