Job summary

Recann in Helsinki is seeking an Embedded Control Software Engineer for a strategic, multi-year project at the intersection of embedded software, power engineering and control systems.

You will develop in C/C++ and Python for power electronics platforms, design control loops for inverters and DC/DC converters, and collaborate with large engineering teams using Git and modern testing methods.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in C, C++, and Python alongside Git version control.
• Academic or practical knowledge in Control Engineering or Electrical Power Systems (Power Converters, BESS, Solar, Wind, or Microgrids).
• Familiarity with unit testing, HIL testing, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C/C++ and Python for advanced power electronics platforms.
• Design and analyze control loops, feedback/feedforward mechanisms, and dynamic performance for inverters, rectifiers, and DC/DC converters.
• Utilize Git and testing methods within large-scale, collaborative engineering teams.
