Job summary

Danfoss is seeking an Electronics Development Engineer in Vaasa, Finland, to design electronic circuits and PCB layouts for drive products. You will work within a skilled R&D team on digital, analog, and power electronics, and you will build, test, and validate prototypes to meet stringent specs.

You will create documentation and test plans, and collaborate across engineering, validation, sourcing, and external partners to solve technical challenges and bring new solutions to market.

Qualifications

• Background in electronics product development, including analog, digital, PCB, or power electronics design.
• Ability to design electronic circuits using Cadence, OrCAD, Mentor PADS, or similar.
• Familiarity with circuit simulation tools.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
• Good communication skills in English and a basic command of Finnish.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic circuits and PCB layouts to support new and existing drive products.
• Develop digital, analog, and power electronics solutions that deliver reliable product performance.
• Build, test, and validate prototypes to ensure designs meet technical and quality requirements.
